Isotope News

Here comes the Isotope Circle!

The Isotope Circle makes up a key component for a sustainable future of the project and sets its sights on creating a win-win situation for everybody involved.

As Isotope eCommerce grows, the workload of the Isotope Team grows, and yet the fundraising engine has come to a standstill and Professional Support has been requested over and over again.

Over the past months we have set out to find a solution for all those problems and have discussed at length how we can improve the situation for both—you as the end user of Isotope as well as for us. It was crucial to us to find a solution that makes everyone happy!

We present: The Isotope eCommerce Circle!

We will forego repeating all the information here again, but it would be nice if you could have a look at the dedicated site when you have a minute, and if we could welcome you aboard soon!

So what happens with the fundraising?

The periodic visitors to our project website might have already realized that "Fundraising" has disappeared from the main navigation. We would like to take this opportunity to thank all the donators that have supported the development of Isotope eCommerce in the past and tell you what is going to happen with the remaining two pending fundraising goals:

  • The fundraising regarding the "Data migration to version 2.0" could be completed thanks to a generous donation and will be shipped together with the first Release Candidate of Isotope eCommerce 2.2.0 by the end of August/beginning of September. Other features you can expect with version 2.2.0 would go beyond the scope of this blog post and we will elaborate in more detail when we are ready to do so.
  • The fundraising regarding the "Stock management" was unfortunately not that popular. However, it remains on our radar and will be integrated in a future version of Isotope eCommerce. We hope that with the Isotope Circle we can build the financial state needed to complete it.

You need us, we need you - so jump on the Circlewagon soon!
